Martín García García, who won the Cleveland International Piano Competition last year, is on a world tour and stops by Louisiana’s Concert Hall. Experience him in a program of Chopin and Rachmaninov.
The Spanish pianist Martín García García was born in Gijón in Spain in 1996 and had his first piano lessons at the age of 5. Later followed studies at the highly renowned conservatory in Madrid, Escuela Superior Reina Sofia and Mannes School of Music in New York.
2021 was a good year for the young pianist. First he won 3rd prize in the Chopin Competition in Warsaw and soon after 1st prize in the Cleveland International Piano Competition.
Today he lives in the USA and tours the world, e.g. he performs shortly before the concert on Louisiana in a concert at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York.
